CIPS Saskatchewan

Since 1958, CIPS has helped strengthen the Canadian IT industry by establishing standards and sharing best practices for the benefit of individual IT professionals and the sector as a whole. As Canada’s Association of Information Technology Professionals, we represent thousands of members across the country.

CIPS is a dynamic organization focused on IT excellence through its work on public policy, setting standards within the profession and providing IT support to its community. A couple of CIPS national programs include:

  • Certification of IT professionals (Information Systems Professional (I.S.P.) and Information Technology Certified Professional (ITCP) designations)
  • Accreditation of computer science, software engineering, and MIS programs in Canadian colleges and universities.
  • A voice to government on issues that affect the profession and industry

CIPS also offers other benefits and services to its members ranging from a Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct to educational conferences (e.g. INFORMATICS) and networking opportunities.

In the province of Québec, CIPS is partnered with the RÉSEAU ACTION TI.
