What does Sask 3.0 mean?
The Saskatchewan 3.0 Summit is about bringing Saskatchewan’s future into focus. Web 2.0 was coined to describe the dramatic changes that we have witnessed in the past decade with regard to how people communicate, collaborate and conduct business. It describes the “social web” that led to social networks like Facebook and Twitter, and has sparked previously unimaginable numbers of online communities.
The Saskatchewan 3.0 Summit will consider what comes next. For example, how will ubiquitous mobile devices connected to the internet change our social landscape. Is it the beginning of Web 3.0? This is the question we need to consider and discuss as we develop Saskatchewan’s digital strategy.
